SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — California has ranked 16th in the United States among the states with the worst drivers, according to a report.
The study by Car Insurance Comparison found that Texas and Louisiana are tied for states with the worst drivers in the nation.
The study looked at crashes caused by failure to obey traffic signals, not wearing seat belts, drunken driving, speeding, and careless driving.
This is a good reminder to be safe on the roads as nearly 6 million Californians will travel 50 miles or more for Thanksgiving.
